In all seriousness, the adage, “people are your most valuable resource,” is true. Wouldn’t you rather spend time developing your people to take your company to the next level versus spending time trying to keep up with AR, AP, month end, payroll, taxes, the list goes on and on and on and on…well, you get the picture. The time you currently spend on accounting may be better spent honing in on associates’ skills that need refining and implementing those processes needed to push you over the goal line. If you feel you are lacking with training and development simply because you don't have the time, then maybe it’s time you looked for outside help with your financials.
