SSAE 16 (SOC 1) Audit

Once a company has made the decision to enlist a third party to provide a service, they want assurances that those services will be provided timely, accurately, and securely.  A SSAE 16 / SAS 70 audit shows your commitment to maintaining a sound control environment that protects your client’s data and confidential information. We provide audits and audit preparedness programs for these and other industries: Audit ProcessAssure's audit process takes approximately 6-8 weeks from start to completion, depending on your team’s availability. We are cognizant that our clients have fulltime, everyday obligations in addition to dealing with auditors so we are flexible to your needs and work around your schedule to provide a quality audit and report in the time frame you desire.

  • Pre Assessment – We provide the assessment at no additional cost because we feel it is essential to providing you with excellent service. No two businesses operate in the same way. For this reason, we take the time to listen to your operations and understand your business in order to assess the controls you have in place. We also work to understand your users’ needs and requirements. Through the successful completion of hundreds of audits, we have developed an efficient method to assess the controls in place at your organization.
  • Audit Evidence – We keep you informed throughout the entire process. Communication is the foundation of our process. Based on our initial assessment, we will provide you with a detailed list of items requested and are never more than a phone call away to provide assistance. We are up-front and honest in our process and are extremely clear throughout the process of the information required to meet the engagement objectives.
  • Onsite procedures –If an onsite visit is necessary, we conduct final scoping, make inquiries of management and staff, and review the operations with management. Testing of controls that require observation or are confidential in nature are completed. Our auditors are aware that an audit can cause business disruptions and are trained to prepare in advance to minimize disruptions.
